Hate.

I hate my class on the fourth floor.
I hate me being unprepared for the application of integration test tommorrow.
I hate the marks on my simple harmonic motion test.
I hate the stupid cardboard box I call my pencil case.
I hate losing to Sadiq in Softball during PE.
I hate not having money to buy the Polar RS100 heartrate moniter.
I hate running on my twisted ankle now.
I hate not having a handphone now.
I hate me not. :->

Thirty seconds away.

I feel pretty low this weekend. I had just recovered from a pair of extra sore eyes and then Bamm!,my ankle got stepped on and twisted.Actually training on friday was full of it. Several guys got injured, the worst being Akira(You got to take it easy man). Wait, only Anders got away scot-free, seeing that the guy practically has yellow titanium skin. Well, worst accidents have happened in MI(and its not even rugby). Didn't do much on Saturday and What a day! today.

Do you always get into this situation where a guy would overtake you and you would be like, Oh well, the guy isn't getting a stupid medal anyway but when you do finish you realised that the guy actually got a medal finish and you got jackshit for letting him have that position finish without much of a fight? It happened to me in the 2001 National cross-country, a Swift cross-country some years back and now making it an undignified three times today. Running the race in the middle of the pack is something, but knowing that you let a medal finish out of your hands and you don't even realise it? Damn, it sucks being the born loser.

Pieces.

I tried to be perfect
But nothing was worth it
I don’t believe it makes me real
I thought it’d be easy
But no one believes me
I meant all the things I said

If you believe it’s in my soul
I’d say all the words that I know
Just to see if it would show
That I’m trying to let you know
That I’m better off on my own

This place is so empty
My thoughts are so tempting
I don’t know how it got so bad
Sometimes it’s so crazy
That nothing can save me
But it’s the only thing that I have

If you believe it’s in my soul
I’d say all the words that I know
Just to see if it would show
That I’m trying to let you know
That I’m better off on my own

On my own

I tried to be perfect
It just wasn’t worth it
Nothing could ever be so wrong
It’s hard to believe me
It never gets easy
I guess I knew that all along

If you believe it’s in my soul
I’d say all the words that I know
Just to see if it would show
That I’m trying to let you know
That I’m better off on my own

Nothing ventured, Nothing gained.

Well, it might have been the case of us biting off more than we can chew. I definitely know that we were not complacent or anything like that, the year ones definitely didn't. But I realised that we have to work hard on improving our technique if we are going to have a chance to take all those neighbourhood JCs on. Especially NYJC. Credit really goes to these guys who not only got 3rd runner up for the National 10s last Saturday, but also did just as well for the 15s in May this year. PJC also hogged most of the attention at the 10s. Their playing style is almost spontaneous and reminded me of the backs play of the Maoris. Simply fantastic.

MI did badly, if you have to compare our expectations with our results. I have to admit that I was pretty much at fault for losing the NYJC game as I was still pretty slow and unreactive then. That lapse of reaction let them score a try. I felt pretty shitty and Ah Chuan let me have a piece of his mind about it. For the next three games, I tried not to repeat any mistakes I had done and just go about my job. Sadiq must have felt bad about getting that yellow card against CJC and I have to admit it was a pretty harsh decision. Don't worry bro, we all make mistakes. It's just a matter of learning from them.

Something to say.

I think I know the cause of the Singapore's problem to find a constant bloody supply from donations. Eight of my classmates went up for the blood donation. Out of that eight, an amazingly six were rejected. I mean, 75% of would be donors are being rejected at once due to reasons like lack of iron in the blood, too small a vein, and for me, too fast a donation since being hospitalised. So we all missed out on the needle piercing. But we still managed to get a fair share of the milo given out. Just to think that the reason I go for blood donations is for the free flow of packeted milo. Hah. Today was one of those days I wouldn't mind having again. You know, the kind not memorable or anything, just being peaceful. Whoah, I really need to keep working on my project work. Group 69 are progressing well but I think we need to go a bit faster to ensure we don't get lagged behind. Speaking of lagged, we mustn't let ourselves get lagged behind come Saturday. I'm a bit anxious about the role that I'm playing as it's a very big shoe for me to fit. But I'm very confident about the backlline and have complete faith that they will do the job. Forwards, do your job tommorrow and reassure me that you are just as good as the backline. You know what we need to do.

The strength of the pack is the wolf.
The strength of the wolf is the pack.
Remember that brothers.

Bullshit.

I think God pulled an exceptionally sick prank on me today. Otherwise, the game of dice has put me in the deepest shit possible. I don't mean to be rude, but what the fuck was wrong with me today? I was so screwed up, I don't think a philips head screwdriver would fit. I would have to use a bloody sledgehammer to get over this. I know someone in my class is screwing me over, but my handphone isn't even polyphonic! It's a freaking old phone! Why the fuck someone has to steal it is beyond me. Not that they can get past the security code in my phone. Hell, I myself forgot the code long time ago. Also I think I received the worst ever insult ever given by my coach. It's so bad I don't think I would be able to sleep tonight.

Took a break.

Took a long break, thanks to a doctor and Tengku Abdul Rahman. But now that I think about it, I still have not done up my files. So screw that. I'm awfully sorry Nabilah, but I'm kind of zoned out for the past two weeks. So yeah. A week of absence from school. And suddenly the whole world change. To my classmates, friends and brothers, thanks for your concern during my stay in bedlam. Actually hospital isn't so bad if not for the numerous jabs, the hours alone in the wrong company and the finger up the ass(I kid you not.). The touch carnival last friday was alright although it was a bit disorganised. The National Day holidays were nice to have. The fireworks are amazing! It is so nice, to dance among the stars one day. The National day celebrations in school were somewhat muted by the drizzle beforehand. I have never understand why a track and field guy would try to create trouble for himself. I don't understand why you have a bone to pick with the ruggers. Come on, runners are supposed to have a greater self-discipline than any other person. Unless you crave personal attention and is a poor guy deprived of friends. Don't consider this a warning Farid, treat this as a threat if you wish.
